Moving Forward in Sunderland: working together for children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities and their families

This is an exciting opportunity to have your voice heard and influence SEND practices in Sunderland.

WORKSHOPS

Please select a morning and afternoon workshop when booking your ticket.  There are six to chose from, based on the six priorities identified in the draft SEND strategy.  You can read more about these HERE

Sunderland’s vision is that all children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities have the right support and opportunities at the right time so that they become resilient, happy and independent adults leading fulfilling lives.  This partnership event will bring together parents and carers with professionals from across education, health and social care to look at what still needs to be achieved to fulfil this vision and agree key actions to take forward.
