Whitburn Archers Beginners Sessions

Two hour sessions run by a qualified DBS checked coach and a team of experienced archers. At Whitburn Archers rather than asking you to undertake a full four week course to fixed dates, we have broken our course into two hour sessions. Progress at your own rate and attend to between eight  - twelve sessions, around your calender and commitments, to complete the course. 

Registration is 14:15 - 14:30 and the session starts at 14:30 prompt. 

All equipment provided. Please wear a sports top and tie long hair back. We do advise removing any lip or nose piercing. 

Adults - Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome, there is no upper age limit. No experience necessary. 

Juniors - there is no age limit for juniors, all juniors are assesed individually. Juniors that can follow all instructions are welcome on the full beginners sessions. Younger members can take part in our fletchlings sessions. These are fun and games sessions with safety arrows to allow younger archers to enjoy the sport. These sessions are taken by DBS checked members of the coaching team. 

Parents/guardians of all juniors under the age of 16 must be present throughout all sessions. Parents/guardians of juniors taking part in fletchling sessions can take part in the full beginners sessions at the same time. 

Wheelchair users, visually impaired, hearing impaired and anyone with an individual level of physical ability is welcome. Please highlight if you need more support by selecting the option when buying the ticket and we will contact you to ensure we can support you.
