Biker Down is a free workshop that gives training on what to do in the event of a motorcycle accident. There are 3 modules involved:

Module 1 - Scene safety and scene management, this covers what the first person on scene should consider to stay safe and to prevent a deterioration of the situation.

Module 2 - 1st aid and trauma management, how to deal with injuries associated with a motorcycle accident. Also includes safe helmet removal, CPR and defibrillator training.

Module 3 - The science of being seen, written by an eye specialist it gives information as to why other road users don't see bikers and can pull out on them. The information in this module can prevent a right of way violation from occurring.

All input is delivered by frontline operational Firefighters.
