Engineering Degree Apprenticeship Launch Event

The Faculty of Technology at the University of Sunderland are launching 3 new pathways of study which will enable engineers to study a BENG (Hons) in Engineering.
This event is an opportunity for you to come and hear how Engineering academics have come together to design the 3 pathways for engineers, depending on their specific bias:

Engineering Practice (Design)

Engineering Practice (Manufacturing)

Engineering Practice (Electronic and Electrical)

This launch will enable you to understand the funding arrangements as well as the structure and rationale for the course. You will also gain an insight into the time expectations and the assessment processes.

Event Itineray:

08:30am - Arrival and registration including breakfast and refreshments

09:00am - Introduction from Alastair Irons on the Faculty and Degree Apprenticeships overall

09:30am - Detailed overview of Engineering Degree Apprenticeships

10:30am - Tour of Engineering facilities

11:00am - Close
